These treats arrived in a nice looking Edgard & Cooper branded packaging with all the information you’d need or want printed onto it. The packet is super easy to tear open and while it doesn’t have a resealable top it’s not a huge deal as there are only six pieces in the 75g pack, so they’ll be long gone before they get a chance to go stale. My staffy had absolutely no complaints with these strips, he happily took them back to his bed in place of his usual treats and devoured them. That’s pretty much all I can say about them, he seems to enjoy them as well as any other treat, and it took zero convincing to get him to take these strips or bites from Edgard & Cooper. As I mentioned already though, they’re expensive, especially if you’ve got a larger breed of dog where the daily recommended number of these is nearly a full packet, which will add up very quickly at £3.99/ea. I personally couldn’t see myself switching over to these for day to day use, but as an occasional treat I’d have no problems considering them.

These strips were chunkier than I thought they were going to be. Decent sized strip treats with good ingredients, 70% chicken, grain free with no added sugars. My dog really enjoyed them. I either gave her them whole or broke them into smaller pieces. £3.99 seems reasonable for these considering the size of strips and ingredients used to make them.

I am very pleased with these chicken strips and my dogs even more so! I had part expected them to be either too soft or too chewy but they are a good texture, a bit like a dense flapjack consistency. It means that I can break a strip up into little nibbles and I use these as high value treats for training. My dogs go crackers when they know I have one of these in my pocket, so they are all for doing some training when these are on offer. I really appreciate that these not only encourage my dogs but they have good ingredients and a high percent of chicken rather than being bulked up with lots of unneeded stuff. They are a good size for a treat if you wish to feed a whole one, and would suit larger and very small breeds alike. I will certainly be buying more in the future!

My dog was interested in these as soon as they arrived. The paper bag was easy to open (but not resealable) and contained a good amount of fairly large bars. My dog is a small/medium size terrier so he managed a whole bar, breaking it into pieces as he chewed it. He seemed to really enjoy it! It smells quote chickeny so he must have loved the flavour. Good quality natural ingredients and easy to break up if needed as they are fairly soft. Very pleased with these - happy dog, happy life!

First off the most important part, the dog loved them, but that isn't a high bar to reach as he pretty much eats anything. So I would have to say based on the cost (£4.00 at time of review) these might not be the best value for some dogs, considering my dog is just as excited about the cheap treats as he is these. That being said I do like that they are advertised as “Grain Free” and “No Sugar.” The only really criticism I have is that the bag isn't resealable. Not that I am overly concerned about the freshness of my dogs treats, but instead it was an issue when my dog was able to grab down the bag and help himself to the entire bag with little to no obstruction.

Die Snuggle Up Strips bestehen zu 45 % aus frischem Fleisch (Truthahn 33 %, Lamm 12 %), dazu kommen Erbsenstärke, Kartoffelmehl, Cellulose, ein Hauch Obst (Birne und Apfel je 0,05 %) sowie pflanzliches Glycerin und vegetarische Soße. Positiv hervorzuheben: ✅ Getreidefrei: Top für sensible Hunde ✅ Kein Zucker, wenig Fett (8,8 %): Gut für die Hunde-Zähne und -Figur ✅ Mit Gemüse und Obst: Klingt hip und ist auch nützlich – liefert Vitamine und Ballaststoffe. ✅ Hoher Feuchtigkeitsgehalt (20 %): Macht den Snack schön weich, somit auch für Hunde Omis und Opis sowie Welpen geeignet. Etwas weniger charmant: ➤ Der Zusatz von pflanzlichem Glycerin (zur Feuchthaltung) ist in Tierfutter zwar üblich, aber nicht zwingend nötig. ➤ Cellulose dient als Faserquelle – für die Verdauung gut, klingt aber für das menschliche Ohr ein bisschen nach Papiertonne. ➤ Die technologischen Zusatzstoffe (Antioxidationsmittel & Konservierer) sorgen für Haltbarkeit, sind aber ein kleiner Dämpfer für die sonst so natürliche Zutatenliste. Vom verwöhnten Malteser bis zum jungen Schäferhund-Wirbelwind - Die Begeisterung ist groß. Meine Highlights waren: • Die Malteserdame: Anfangs skeptisch, dann begeistert – typisch Diva mit gutem Geschmack. • Der Seniorenhund: Hat trotz altersbedingter Zahnprobleme keine Probleme beim Kauen. • Die "Köterin" (Originalzitat!): Trägt die leckeren Streifen in ihr „Schatzversteck“. • Der Welpe: Springt wie ein Flummi, wenn er nur den Beutel rascheln hört. ...und unser eigener Chihuahua: Verlangt gefühlt ständig Nachschub. Da muss man schon stark bleiben ;) Wie die anderen Rezensenten kann ich ebenfalls die gute Verdaulichkeit loben – keine Blähungen, kein Durchfall und auch sonst keinerlei Veränderungen. ✂️ Handhabung und Portionierung Die Strips sind wunderbar "weich" und biegsam, sie lassen sich daher auch bei Bedarf wunderbar brechen – und sind somit auch für kleine oder alte Hunde geeignet. Man kann den Snack kleiner portionieren, wenn man nicht gleich den ganzen Streifen geben kann oder will - und gekaut wird ganz easy, auch von dem vierbeinigen, hochbetagten Besucher-Hund mit kaum noch Zähnen. Perfekt ist der Snack also für jede Gelegenheit: Ob für's Training, für unterwegs oder wenn man einfach ein kleines Dankeschön servieren möchte. 📦 Verpackung – nicht ganz dicht ;) Die Verpackung ist leider nicht wiederverschließbar, was ein klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt ist. Aber mal ehrlich: Wer hat heutzutage keinen Clip im Haushalt oder einen Zip-Beutel oder sonstigen verschließbaren Behälter auf Reserve? Eben. Positiv erwähnenswert ist aber, dass die Tüte aus Papier besteht – das punktet bei allen, die Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit legen. 💶 Preis – gute Qualität hat ihren... Kompromiss Mit rund 3,50 € für 75g ist der Preis im oberen Mittelfeld, aber noch vertretbar – besonders bei kleinen Hunden, wo ein (halber) Streifen am Tag reicht.
